You'll be a 5-15 minute drive to The Memphis Zoo, The Memphis International Airport, SUN Studio, STAX Museum, Civil Rights Museum, Beale Street, Bass Pro Pyramid, Botanical Gardens and, of course, Graceland!
The House
Private, renovated 1922 2-bedroom house with plenty of parking and a host who lives across the street. The Memphis House is on a quiet street in the very heart of Cooper-Young. You won't find a more centrally-located property in the city you've come to visit. It is a 3-minute walk(!) to restaurants, 5-minute drive to groceries and drug stores and a less than 15 minute drive/ride-share to all the city's main attractions.

I have carefully chosen items that may be of interest to the traveler without overwhelming with too much. I have read the books, carefully chosen the brochures, listened to the CDs, watched the DVDs and to this day I continue exploring Memphis in order to give you the best recommendations to customize your visit.

Necessaries
Microwave, washer/dryer, great water-pressure, easy-to-control temperature, Keurig coffee service, toiletries, snacks, beverages, thick fluffy towels, and comfortable linens -- no detail was spared to make The Memphis House your home away from home. The Memphis House may be funky-found-primitive but not at the sacrifice of style or comfort.
More Than Decor
Each of the two bedrooms boasts "hotel" lamps with outlets and DOHM Yoga white-noise machines. There is plenty of closet space and shelf-space for your travel items. Each of the king-sized beds has a super-comfortable NORA king-size mattress. SO many guests raved about the mattresses that I actually went and got one for myself! I can honestly say it is one of the most restful mattresses I've ever slept on.
The "Gem"
The Memphis House screened-in, tin-roofed, bottle-cap decorated back porch is a real gem! There is no better place for having a cup of coffee in the morning or a cool beverage in the evening while you plan your days of exploring Memphis.

I have stayed at AirBnBs all over the world. I have a passion for estate sales, flea markets, antique stores, unique shops and markets. When 2020 hit and my passport became all but useless, instead of digging through weekend markets and antique stores in Montreal, Havana, Paris, Rome, Mexico and medieval Italian villages, I spent my my time hunting all over the Memphis area collecting Memphis objects and 'curating' a fun uniquely Memphis-themed space called "The Memphis House".
